Peter joined BART as a trustee in 2019 having enjoyed a successful business career.
He studied Botany at Durham University (BSc) and in 2022 for a Post Graduate Certificate in Environmental Management from the Open University.
Having been fascinated with rivers and their wildlife since early childhood Peter has stayed involved with them ever since. Highlights from the last few years include playing a key role with Trout in the Trym (a grassroots group in Bristol working to restore an urban catchment and engage the local community) and co-creating a series of podcasts ‘The Fishtolian’ (in which he and a friend explored Bristol’s urban rivers and streams with a fly-fishing rod).
