Peter joined BART as a trustee in 2019. He read Botany at Durham University for his BSc and is currently studying Environmental Management with the Open University. Peter has worked in business throughout his career, leading teams in a range of disciplines including strategy and planning, risk and policy governance, project management and marketing/communications. As well as having an enduring affinity with the nature he has maintained a long standing involvement with water – as a rower, as a keen angler and low-key birdwatcher plus through beach cleans. In addition he is a Riverfly Monitor and General Secretary for Charfield Angling Association.
