Simon has a BSc Geography and MPhil with a strong focus on Applied Fluvial Geomorphology and Ecosystem Services.
Simon has spent his career to date developing and delivering river, wetland and coastal restoration throughout the UK and overseas for various design and build consultancies. Simon has developed a comprehensive multi-disciplinary understanding across various disciplines including fluvial geomorphology, bio-engineering, land drainage, flood-risk, fisheries, local habitat requirements, protected species and designated sites.
Simon is Head of Operations for BART, leading the development, fundraising and overseeing the implementation of BART projects including day-to-day management of the team and sub-contractors.
