My name is Maxine Goodey and I am currently studying an MSc in Environmental Consultancy at the University of the West of England (UWE). As part of my course I have to complete a five month industrial placement which I am undertaking at the Bristol Avon Rivers Trust (BART). I am incredibly grateful to Ruth Barden, Ian Mock and Mark Everard for giving me an opportunity to work alongside them at BART on the Upper Avon Initiative. My work will involve the Sherston and Tetbury Avon and the main river downstream to Sutton Benger as well as the streams running into the river within this area.
